Agadir tours at a glance
Agadir Tours, operated by Serenity Morocco Tours, plans and runs private tours, day trips and airport transfers from Agadir on Morocco's Atlantic coast: Paradise Valley, Taghazout surf, Souss-Massa, Taroudant, Legzira and a 3-day Zagora desert trip. Most excursions take a half or full day, with prices from $45 per person.
Yes, if you want a relaxed Atlantic beach holiday with reliable sun. Agadir was rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake, so it is a modern resort with a long sandy bay rather than a historic medina. Its strengths are the beach and promenade, Souk El Had, the Oufella viewpoint and easy day trips to Taghazout, Paradise Valley and the Souss.
One or two days covers the town itself: the beach and corniche, the marina, Souk El Had and the Oufella kasbah viewpoint. Most visitors stay four to seven nights, which leaves time to slow down on the sand and add two or three day trips such as Paradise Valley, Taghazout or Taroudant.
About 250 km by road. The A7 toll motorway makes it roughly a 2.5 to 3 hour drive by private car, so Marrakech works as a long day trip from Agadir (our private day trip starts from $110 per person) or as a one-way transfer between the two cities.
Beach days on the bay, a palm-lined promenade and 300 days of Atlantic sunshine a year.
World-class point breaks at Taghazout & Tamraght — dawn sessions, lessons and beach cafés.
Argan groves, Paradise Valley pools and the pink flamingos of Souss-Massa National Park.

Sun-loungers, long lunches on the marina and a sunset camel ride up the coast at Taghazout. Pure Atlantic resort living.
Things to do
Black-soap steam rooms, argan-oil rituals and surf-and-yoga days — the slow, restorative side of Morocco's sunny south.

Why Agadir Tours
We don't resell other people's trips. Every stay is checked before you arrive, we work directly with every driver, and every quote is itemised — the price we pay our partners plus a clear service fee. That is the whole deal.
Every trip is designed and run by us. No white-labelling, no resale, no surprise add-ons at the end of the week.
The person who writes your quote is the person on WhatsApp during the trip. Small team by design.
Local hosts, fair driver day-rates, low-impact routes, reusable amenity kits in our cars.
Private hammams, artisan workshops with masters, helicopter routes — all priced transparently.
Moroccan moments
Morocco is small details done a thousand years in a row. A few we'll quietly fold into your trip — and a few we'll teach you to recognise before they pass.
Diyafa
The first glass bitter as life, the second strong as love, the third sweet as death. You'll be offered tea at every door — it is rude to refuse the first pour, and rude to drink only one.
Hammam
Public or private, it's a weekly ritual not a spa treatment. Black soap, eucalyptus steam, an aggressive scrub with a kessa glove. You leave a different person.
Adhan
From the Grand Mosque in Talborjt, from every Souss village minaret — the call begins at dawn and ends after dusk. It is not background noise; it is the clock the country keeps.
Riad
From the alley, a plain door. Inside, a tiled courtyard, an orange tree, a fountain, four storeys of carved cedar around it. Moroccan luxury is hidden by design.
Souq
Start at one-third the asked price, settle around half. Walk away once — they will follow if your number is fair. It is theatre, not warfare, and ends with mint tea.
Argan
The Souss is the only place on earth the argan grows wild — gnarled, thorny, goats sometimes balanced in its branches. Women's co-operatives crack the nuts by hand for the oil that flavours every Agadir breakfast.

CompareCoast comparison · Atlantic Morocco
Both sit on Morocco's Atlantic shore, but one is a sunny, purpose-built resort with a sheltered 10 km bay and the other a wind-blown UNESCO port full of Gnawa music and grilled sardines.
CompareCoast comparison · Surf & beach
Just 20 km apart on the same coast, Agadir offers a full-service resort city while Taghazout is a low-rise surf village built around legendary point breaks. The drive between them takes 30 minutes — but the feel could not be more different.
CompareStay comparison · Where to sleep
Should you book a seafront resort in Agadir or a courtyard riad in a medina town like Taroudant or Essaouira? The two ways of sleeping in Morocco shape your whole trip differently.
A field note
A short, honest guide we wrote for first-time travelers — no fluff, no top-10 lists.
Morocco has two long windows. Mid-September to mid-November is our favorite: the medinas exhale after summer, the desert nights are cool enough for a blanket, and the High Atlas is still walkable above 2,500m. March to early May is the second window — wildflowers in the Ourika valley, almond blossom in the Anti-Atlas, and warm coastlines from Essaouira to Oualidia.
On a first trip we usually suggest Agadir as your base — a few beach days on the bay, a morning for Souk El Had and the Agadir Oufella viewpoint, then a day in Paradise Valley for the palm-shaded pools and a half-day of surf at Taghazout. Add the walled city of Taroudant or the birdlife of Souss-Massa, and keep a long lunch on the marina for your last afternoon.
Because every Agadir trip is private and tailored — beachfront stays, a driver-guide, day trips to Paradise Valley, Taghazout and the Souss — we quote each one individually rather than publishing a fixed price. Beachfront resorts in the winter-sun peak and the quieter surf camps up the coast move the number; shoulder season brings it down. Send us your dates and we'll tell you the truth, in writing, before you book.
Plan with our guides
No listicles, no sponsored filler. These are the questions every traveller asks us before their first trip — answered honestly, by a team that runs trips in Agadir.
PlanningAgadir is Morocco's mildest year-round base: the Atlantic keeps summers cooler than the interior and winters warm enough for the beach. Spring and autumn are flawless, winter is prime sun-seeking season, and even high summer stays bearable thanks to the sea breeze.
PlanningYes — Morocco is one of the safest, most welcoming countries in North Africa, and Agadir is among its easiest places to relax. As a purpose-built modern resort city it has wide, well-lit avenues and a patrolled beach promenade rather than a maze of medina lanes, so the everyday hassle is minimal.
PracticalAgadir has no train station, so getting around the south coast means taxis, buses and private cars. Within the resort it's easy on foot or by petit taxi; for Taghazout, Paradise Valley, the Souss and longer hops to Marrakech or Essaouira, you'll want a bus or a private driver.
CultureAgadir eats from the sea. As Morocco's largest fishing port the city serves some of the country's freshest seafood, alongside the southern Souss specialities built around argan oil — and the same sweet mint tea poured everywhere along the coast.
