Overview
Drive the winding argan road into the High Atlas foothills to reach Paradise Valley — a dramatic palm-lined gorge with natural rock pools, a seasonal waterfall and clifftop views — then continue up to the honey-market village of Imouzzer des Ida Outanane.
The road north of Agadir climbs quickly through dense argan forest — Morocco's UNESCO-protected tree, harvested here by Berber women's cooperatives — before dropping into a narrow sandstone gorge where a river has carved a series of natural rock pools shaded by towering palms. This is Paradise Valley, and in spring and early summer the pools are cold, clear and deep enough to jump from the granite shelves above.
From the valley floor the road switchbacks another 20 km up to Imouzzer des Ida Outanane, a cool village at over 1,000 m known across the Souss for its honey market and the small waterfall that flows (November to March) just above the village. Lunch is taken at a local café terrace with views across the valley before the descent back to Agadir.

Is "Paradise Valley & Imouzzer Gorge" private or a group tour?
100% private. Just you and the people you book with — your own driver, vehicle and pace from start to finish. We never pool travellers.
Can I change the dates or itinerary?
Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add a day, swap a riad, change the start city — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on medina cobblestones, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.
When should I book?
Agadir is a year-round coast, but for peak weeks (Christmas, Easter and July–August) and anything involving Paradise Valley or the Anti-Atlas in spring, book 6–10 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.
