Overview
Visit Crocoparc on the Marrakech road east of Agadir — home to hundreds of Nile crocodiles at various life stages — then walk the park's extensive botanical gardens planted with palms, succulents and Moroccan medicinal plants.
Crocoparc opened near Aït Melloul, a short drive east of Agadir on the N10 road. The facility houses hundreds of Nile crocodiles ranging from newly hatched juveniles to large adults, kept in a series of pools and landscaped enclosures that recreate a West African riverbank environment. Feeding sessions (check times on arrival) draw the largest crowds and give the best photo opportunities.
The park is equally notable for its botanical component: several hectares of themed gardens contain hundreds of plant species, including a cactus garden, an aromatic-herb section with plants used in traditional Moroccan medicine, and a palm grove with varieties from across North Africa. Birds are attracted to the water features — herons, egrets and ibis are regular visitors. The combination of reptiles and gardens makes it a reliable half-day excursion that works well for families.

Frequently asked
Questions about this tour.
Is "Crocoparc & Botanical Gardens of Agadir" private or a group tour?
100% private. Just you and the people you book with — your own driver, vehicle and pace from start to finish. We never pool travellers.
Can I change the dates or itinerary?
Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add a day, swap a riad, change the start city — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on medina cobblestones, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.
When should I book?
Agadir is a year-round coast, but for peak weeks (Christmas, Easter and July–August) and anything involving Paradise Valley or the Anti-Atlas in spring, book 6–10 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.
