Overview
A drive south of Agadir past Tiznit reveals Legzira beach — Morocco's most spectacular coastal arch, in deep red sandstone — followed by the cliff-top surf enclave of Mirleft and a fresh Atlantic seafood lunch.
The coast road south of Agadir runs through flat argan country and the silversmith city of Tiznit before revealing, without warning, the extraordinary red cliffs of Legzira. The beach's defining feature — a broad natural arch of iron-stained sandstone — frames the breaking Atlantic swell in a scene unlike anything else on the Moroccan coast. (Note: one of the two original arches collapsed in 2016; the surviving arch remains one of Morocco's most photographed natural features.) Tide permitting, you can walk beneath the arch at low water.
Mirleft, north of Legzira along the cliff road, is a modest town perched on a plateau above several pocket beaches. It has a quiet following among European surfers and bohemian travellers, with a handful of guesthouses, a weekly souk and clifftop café terraces overlooking the ocean. The return to Agadir via Tiznit makes for a satisfying full-day circuit of Morocco's least-visited coastline.

Is "Legzira & Mirleft Coast" private or a group tour?
100% private. Just you and the people you book with — your own driver, vehicle and pace from start to finish. We never pool travellers.
Can I change the dates or itinerary?
Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add a day, swap a riad, change the start city — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on medina cobblestones, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.
When should I book?
Agadir is a year-round coast, but for peak weeks (Christmas, Easter and July–August) and anything involving Paradise Valley or the Anti-Atlas in spring, book 6–10 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.
