Good to know

Practical notes

  • Short, easy legs: Agadir to Taghazout is about 30 minutes, Paradise Valley about 1 hour, and Imouzzer roughly 1.5 hours from the city.
  • Agadir is Morocco's most reliable winter-sun beach, with around 300 sunny days a year; the Atlantic is refreshing rather than tropical, so the bay is best for swimming spring through autumn.
  • Paradise Valley's pools are fullest in spring and after rain and lower in late summer; the Imouzzer waterfall is seasonal, strongest after the wet months.
  • Agadir Al Massira airport (AGA) is roughly 25 minutes from the beachfront hotels.
